Initial Disclosure Document (IDD)
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) The FSA is the independent watchdog that regulates financial services. It requires us to give you this document. Use this information to decide if our services are right for you.
1. Whose insurance products do we offer? We offer products from a variety of insurers for non-investment travel insurance contracts.
2. Insurance advice You will not receive advice or a recommendation from us over travel insurance. We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of travel insurance products that we will provide details on. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.
3. What will you have to pay us for our services? No fee is charged for the provision of Travel Insurance. In some cases where a policy is requested to be sent by post rather than email, in addition to the quoted insurance premium, a combined administrative and postal charge of £2.50 is made. In addition to the quoted premium, there may also be premium surcharges to cover special risks such as dangerous sports and/or declared pre-existing medical conditions.
4. Who regulates us? InsurePay is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Our FSA Register number is 315384 and our permitted business is insurance mediation.
